The BWA Campaign Blog is a daily web-log covering the 2004 Presidential election. It began as a joint effort between political enthusiasts Brian Minter and Meredith Bragg to provide pointless commentary on the Democratic primary season, but Mr. Bragg proved cowardly, hesitant and false, and his very name was lost to history.

Our national affairs chief editor is Brian Minter, a news-service editor, former newspaper reporter, sometime-CNN-junkie, literary-minded thinker and admired political iconoclast. Mr. Minter's insightful commentary and oft-scathing wit have become a "must-read" daily fixture on the national political landscape.

The BWA Campaign Blog National Affairs Desk, originally based in Washington DC, is now based in New York City. Working two blocks from the White House did not seem to present a great enough challenge, so we now work two blocks from the United Nations, which we feel improves our chances of becoming a target for terrorists or hostile space creatures.
